We Manage Change
To achieve our goals we need to manage change. Bringing a process from an AS-IS scenario, to a TO-BE one, means helping people from different departments to move from a way of working to another, and this can cause stress and resistence. 

We know that the best way to address this issue and facilitate change is to know the basics of a change process, which have been widely studied in literature (ex. Kotter framework or ADKAR)), and having had experience in leading change following and experimenting these techniques, we know how to make things happen successfully.

To bring effective Change we need also collaboration and help from various corporate levels, process owners, SMEs, sponsors, that's why we identify change leaders or project change agents that can be crucial in unblocking projects bottlenecks and helping the project move forward when things get's difficult.

TQM & Operational Excellence
All our actions and initiatives are based on Total Quality Management and Operational Excellence frameworks and principles.

The first approach used is "Quality by Design" Approach, below examples of application.

Case 1Business Process Integration in IT system (ERP)

When Implementing Business Processes in ERP or business or operations management systems, we use a "quality by design approach"to Prevent Process Errors that can occur during the execution phase. This approach means that we structure the system to "drive and control" the process as a BPM tool. 

Ex. When re-designing an on-line form or ERP form, the system will not allow you to proceide to the next screen or next field (process step or phase), if all essential process fields are not filled properly (with agreed rules or menu) or left blank, sending you alerts, or blocking you. The fields are defined and managed in an appropriate system admin section and are kept aligned with the business organization regularly, so as the rules and the menu that corresponds to the fields.
Ex. When re-designing a business process in a system, we normally select and implement few agreed business standard variants of the process - considered representative of the current or wanted or future business state - eliminating the ones in excess - so to reduce and control business process variability, maximizing process quality, speed and usability.

TQM & Operational Excellence
Other Quality Approaches that we use are:

"Quality by Process Monitoring & Control"
This is an approach commonly used in manufacturing or wherever there is a possibility to set a list of parameters to keep track of and control. If for example we are dealing with a software customization we might use this approach to set Process KPI's, have them calculated by the system and visualized in dashboards designed for specific users. This approach can be used for example to control the quality of Customer Services KPI's or even a Project Delivery KPI's.

"Quality by self check and Verification"
This is a traditional method based on procedures definition and periodical check through audits. With the digital transformation we believe that this type of quality method should be replaced by systems forms and BPM tools implementation.

These approaches - in our view - can be adopted as second and third levels above the "quality by design" approach, eventually, to cover fully the quality & process management life cycle. We consider though the "quality by design" approach the most effective and the necessary condition that can't be left out from a successful process management implementation project.

Essentially, we pursue the "Do it right the first time" approach, by using and introducing these methods during our process design, re-design, re-engineering or automation projects.

This approach is based on "Quality at the Source" methods and serves to guarantee Process Excellence.
